Sub-theme: Abiding in God’s Presence

Scriptures:

  1. Old Testament: Psalm 91:1-2, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”
  2. Letter: John 15:4-5, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”
  3. Gospel: Revelation 3:20, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Édification
Today’s scriptures encourage us to abide in God’s presence. Psalm 91:1-2 invites us to dwell in the shelter of the Most High. John 15:4-5 reminds us to remain in Jesus, the vine. Revelation 3:20 promises Jesus’ presence and fellowship with us.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting us to abide in Your presence. Help us to remain in Jesus and experience Your love and fellowship.
